Why villas and massage go so well together

Many visitors to the Central Pacific coast rent a private villa – often in the hills above Jacó, in the gated communities around Herradura and Los Sueños, or a short walk from the sand at Playa Hermosa. These homes usually have shaded terraces, pool decks and plenty of space, which makes them ideal for an in-villa spa experience.

Instead of splitting a group between cars and spa appointments, everyone stays at the villa, and therapists come to you.

Setting up at your villa

When the therapist arrives, they will walk through the property with you and pick the best spot. Good options are:

• A covered terrace with a breeze and a view – our most requested setup.
• Beside the pool, in shade, for a resort-like feel.
• Indoors with air conditioning on very hot afternoons or during rain.

For privacy, we avoid spaces that are visible from the street or neighboring balconies. In the green season (roughly May to November) afternoon showers are common, so a covered area is best.

Perfect for groups staying together

Villas often host families, friends and celebrations. We can send multiple therapists so that several people are massaged at once, or schedule back-to-back sessions so the rest of the group can enjoy the pool. Read more on group massage in Jaco and couples massage in Jaco.

Choosing treatments

Each guest picks their own treatment. Popular combinations at villas include a relaxation massage for those who want to unwind, deep tissue massage for the surfers in the group, and facials or body scrubs for a fuller spa day. The complete list is on our spa services in Jaco page.

Practical tips

• Let the property manager or gate guard know the therapist's arrival time.
• Share the exact location pin on WhatsApp – many villas are on unnamed roads.
• Keep pets in another room during the session.
• Have the group decide the order of massages in advance to keep the schedule smooth.

Pricing

$75 per hour per person, travel included within Jacó, Los Sueños, Herradura and Playa Hermosa. A 25% deposit reserves the date; the balance is paid at the appointment. Staying further away? Send us the location and we will let you know.
